The top picture was originally titled "hopping around the ICU with Dietmar" (notice the bunny ears behind Detlef's head). The bottom picture is Detlef with Jennifer and his ICU nurse Staci. Now that Scott has helped me figure this out, Karma and Juergen need to send me the photos that they have taken, so that I can post them. Check back later!
Loving the pictures! Thanks Detlef for being such a good sport and allowing us to share your experience. (Dietmar...the "rabbit ears" is a common addition to many of our family photos as well) Somehow "seeing" you brings peace of mind. You are in our prayers. Dad was asking for daily updates and was very excited (as were Traci/Dave/Tom and family) when Scott and Lisa began the blog. We love you and are so grateful that you have so many family members and friends close at hand. We are there in spirit...cheering, laughing, admiring, and loving you long distance.
